Sayuri Kokusyo who has just turned 44 year old has been often seen on variety shows. Her straight comments is one of her charms, however, she also gets criticisms for having strong opinions. Recently there are many harsh comments on her blog. On May 3, she talked about such harsh comments on her blog.

She has noticed that there are increase in number of harsh comments towards her. However, she takes it as a 'good thing in a way'. As much as there are people who love and support her,there are also people who are not fond of her, and it's a natural thing. Some comments make her think and realize certain things. The fact that they come to her blog and leave comments is the proof that they care for her. It is a critical factor for celebrities. 'Once people start ignoring you, that's the end', says Kokusho.

Now, what kind of comments does Kokusho get? For example, on May 30, she criticized politicians to be more aware of themselves in her blog. In response to that, there are comments like, "Why don't YOU become more aware of yourself?", "Why are you looking down like that?", or "You think you are better than those politicians?".

She also write about her TV drama, she asked people to watch the drama, because once it gets good reputation, there is a possibility of the second season. There are people who would do her the favor, but on the other hand, there are comments like 'That's such a selfish favor' and 'You are asking just because you need more viewing rate?".

Sometimes, it is hard to convey what you mean in words. You may receive unexpected criticism for your innocent comment. But in this case, it is a proof that Kokusho is cared by others. Regardless of good or bad, it means that people are interested in her.
