On a radio program, Kimura Takuya of SMAP told that SMAP plan to appear on “FNS 27 HOUR TV” this year.
“SMAP will do something on 27 HOUR TV by Fuji Television,” Kimura said at the ending of the FM radio program “Kimura Takuya’s WHAT’S UP SMAP!” on June 3. SMAP’s first overseas live is fixed on this September 16 at The Workers Stadium in Beijing, China. 27 HOUR TV is two months before of the live. Kimura Takuya said “It’s a hard work ‘cause we have to do rehearsal before Beijing live”; it seems that they are going not to just appear in the program, but to do something.
After the Higashi-Nihon Earthquake, SMAP have acted quickly as idols, for example, they gave a broadcast on a special program; and they have said “we want to continue to do something as much as we can.” Also on “FNS 27 HOUR TV”, there mind should be directed to the stricken areas and reconstruction of Japan; it’s possible they show their live.
And also in this radio program, Kimura Takuya denied the rumor that he will act on Fuji Television’s historical drama: “It can’t be possible ‘cos shooting of “Nankyoku Tairiku (The Antarctica)” haven’t been finished yet.” But he also said with overtones, “I don’t know what my bosses are thinking, but always I hear about that just before the start.” In addition, he said he have heard nothing about 27 HOUR TV for the same reason.
