Kimura Mentions 'SMAP on 27 HOUR TV'

Takuya Kimura of SMAP mentioned that there is a plan of SMAP appearing on 'FNS 27 Hour TV' this year.

On June 3, Kimura said on his FM radio program that SMAP is planning on appearing on FNS 27 Hour TV. This September 16, SMAP will be in Beijing, China, to perform their very first oversea live show. Since the 27 Hour TV is two months prior to their live in China, "We are gonna be busy between the live rehearsal and this", says Kimura.

SMAP took fast actions doing special programs right after the Eastern Japan Earthquake and they said they wanted to do something as much as they could. There is a possibility that they perform a live show on FNS 27 hour TV for the earthquake affected areas.

On the same radio show, Kimura denied the rumor that he would be on a samurai drama of Fuji TV, saying that that is not possible especially when the shooting for the 'Nankyoku Tairiku' has not been finished. However, he also said, 'I have no idea what the tops are thinking though. Nevertheless, by the time I know what is going on, it is literally right before it happens'. For the same reason, he hasn't heard anything about the details of the 27 Hour TV.
