Terry Ito Was Once Banned By Nihon TV

Young people may not know that Terry Ito is a stage director and TV producer. He had produced many famous TV shows such as 'Tensai Takeshi no Genki ga Deru TV' or 'Neruton Benikujira-dan'. However, he once made a big mistake and ever since he has been deprived of the job as a producer. What was his mistake?

Terry Ito appeared on SMAPxSMAP (Fuji TV) as he is now recognized as a TV talent. When Masahiro Nakai of SMAP asked Ito what kind of TV programs Ito was making as a producer, he started to talk about the incident with Nihon TV.

There was a special new year TV show called 'Saru-doshi Banzai!'. In the show, Ito smacked live monkeys as if it were a whack-a-mole game. Ever since, he was banned by Nihon TV, and it is not surprising.

After a while, his other show on TV Tokyo performed a high rating, and he once again started a show with Nihon TV which is 'Tensai Takeshi no Genki ga Deru TV'.

Ito used to do anything he could think of for his shows. He is now seen in 'Sukkiri'' of Nihon TV. Who would think that he was once banned by Nihon TV?
