"It Was His Best Choice To Be an Actor", Chosuke Ikariya Talks About Kotaro Koizumi

Kotaro Koizumi, son of a former prime minister, started his career as an actor in 2001. Late Chosuke Ikariya was his role model and taught him how to be a good actor.

"I now will treat you as my little brother", said Chosuke Ikariya.Koizumi will never forget what Ikariya said when both were on a talk show in 2003. Ikariya said, "They way you live as well as your acting can give courage to the audience. My happiest moment is when I get a script for the first time". He treated the script as something very precious and read it over and over.

"He still shows up in my dream", says Koizumi. Ikariya is the first person he wants to go and consult when he runs into obstacles. It is him who raised Koizumi as a big actor.
