Eiji Bando, a baseball commentator/TV entertainer has blogged about his first shopping experience at one of the biggest dollar shop, "The Daiso".

"The Daiso" is now seen nationwide, but it is little known that its run by Daiso Industry and its headquarter locates in Hiroshima. Bando has learned about "The Daiso" when he visited Hiroshima as a baseball commentator.

In Hiroshima, he met the owner of "The Daiso" and learned about the company and its dynamic scale. Shortly after his meeting with the owner, he went to "The Daiso" for the first time to buy a cosmetic case. He was surprised to see the varieties of items that are sold for only 100 yen.
