Successor of Wii!! “Wii U”: Controller with touch screen

A successor of Wii, “Wii U” was revealed in Nintendo conference at E3.

Its main function is a controller with touch screen monitor; it enables to play with multi screen like DS and to use video distribution service, too.

It will be released in 2012. The new controller is 6.2 inch. 16:9 touch screen is equipped; image output supports 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480p, 480i. Also, HDMI, Component, D-terminal, S-terminal and Composite cables are available; it will be capable with HD at last.

In addition, connection to Nintendo 3DS was also announced.
