'Wanna Be An Electronic Diva!' Sayaka Kanda Challenges Miku Hatsune in Singing

An actress and singer, Sayaka Kanda is challenging Miku Hatsune who is known as an electronic diva on TV.

Sayaka Kanda is currently acting in Les Miserable and Peter Pan, and she just released her 10th anniversary album 'Liberty' and will be performing in her live 'Sweet Liberty' on June 30. She has been singing in musicals, but it is her first time to be on stage as a singer in her own live show. She talked about her new discovery in 'Lion no Gokigenyo' on June 17.

Sayaka Kanda is now into Miku Hatsune who is known to be an electronic diva world wide. It is an desktop music (DTM) software which Miku Hatsune sings the vocal or chorus line for you once you enter the melody and lyrics. Once you get skilled at it, it sounds like as if a real person is singing, hence there are many users all over the world.

Sayaka has also 'trained' Miku Hatsune and now she is able to make her sing with a relatively high perfection level. Because it is a computer, it can sing up to really high pitch, and when Sayaka sings along her, she has 'mastered to sing in a relatively high pitch'. Sayaka as a singer is now determined to 'beat her' and practice singing with Miku Hatsune everyday.
