Sonic 20th anniversary: Sonic cosplay Hatsune Miku on “Weekly ASCII”

Sonic Miku and Sonic the Hedgehog appeared on the cover of “Weekly Ascii” released on 2011 June 21.

It was realized in the collaboration project of Sega and Ascii. Celebrating Sonic 20th anniversary, a two-shot of Sonic Miku dressing up as Sonic and Sonic the Hedgehog is on the magazine.

“Sonic Miku” was specially designed by Uekawa Yuji, the designer of Sonic series. It seems that this design will be put as a module (costume) in the latest of Project DIVA series “Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA- Ver2.5 (the name is tentative)” planned to be released in this autumn.
